Kingdom under the Mountain – city of Khazadum – Known locally as the Moody Mountain
In the middle of the mighty human Empire of Tyre there rises a single massive mountain in the Eastern marches. In the beginning of time was once linked the Doom Mountain range to the North West but now the river Stendari carved out the intervening mountains and it stands by itself amongst bountiful planes, forest, rivers and wet lands.
Source to amazingly rich veins of mithril, adamantite, other rare earth metals and gems, it was founded by Dain Stormhand in an age before the elf migration to these lands. The beautifully carved homes and halls show its wealth and has long been a bastion of dwarves and is a home to any dwarf that finds themselves cast asunder.
Current king under the mountain is Thri Stormhand, son of Thorum, son of Thorin, son of Thrain, son of Dwalin, son of Nain, son of Thoric, son of Thror, son of Dain Stormhand.
Races – Hill and Moutain dwarves. The amount of trade that Khazudum generates brings representatives from all races to the halls of Khazadum.
Classes – Bard, Cleric, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard
Alignment has to be Lawful. Those that show evil tendencies do not thrive in Khazudum. Even chaos is barely tolerated.
Viscolae – clan of Baldea – city of Thingrundum
Though the the huge isand is claimed by the Empire of Tyre, the Baldae mountain range is home to clan Baldea. The main clan holding of Thingrundum is located on the western edge of the mountains and is in fact a large sea port owing to its unique harbor and the sheer mountains the meet the sea. Founded in the same age as Khazadum. Known for its fleets and its world ranging trade, it brings many strange and curious items from far flung exotic locales.
Races – Sea Dwarf and Hill dwarves.
Classes – Bard, Cleric Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Wizard
Alignment – Since it comes into contact with races from all over the world, the Baldae are more tolerant of different views. However those that claim this clan must be Lawful or Good.
Southern Addramyttium – halls of Zachea – city of Rungrudalhak
On the southern border of the Empire of Tyre there is the mountain range of Zachea where there is vast amounts of gold and platinum. After being reclaimed by Tyre after the Orc Incurions 500 years ago, gnomes and dwarves were give the chance to settle and run the metal mining operation for the Empire. This is one of the main sources of the Empires wealth and the doughty dwarf warriors and gnome spell casters along with the vast fortress of Zach make it unassailable.
Races – Gnome, Hill Dwarf
Classes – Cleric, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard
Alignment – Lawful or Good for dwarves, lawful fro gnomes
Grand Inland Sea, Misty Isles – city of Thorgimfim
Located among the Mistly Isles, the Misty dwarves had turned sea craft into a proud tradition and not only merchants but staunch and doughty warriors ply the strongest ships, known as dragon ships, in the Inland sea. The halls of Thorgimfim are carved into a living volcano. The spell casters are used to protect the city and use the power of the volcano against any that threaten this intricate built port and city.
Races – Volcanoe or Fire dwarves, sea dwarves
Classes – Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock
Alignment – Any lawful or any good. Clan and family ties are what prevails for this small dwarf nation. Ones duty is to its family and clan first and then to ones ship.
Thunderhold – Thunder Mountains – Mountain Dwarves
Ered Mithrin – Iron Mountains – Hill, Mountain, Frost Dwarves – one of the lost tribes has been restored with the lost crown.
